In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, Lily Allen has hinted that she would embrace married life.

Lily Allen has dropped a hint that she would like to wear a wedding ring at some point in the future.

In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, the pop star, who is currently pregnant with her first child, implied she would like to head down the aisle.

When questioned on the issue, she said it is "something you'll have to ask [her boyfriend] Sam [Cooper]" about, but added: "I think I've been pretty clear about what I'd like."

Allen is working on launching a vintage boutique with half-sister Sarah Owen and said she is has no immediate plans to return to making music.

"I just don't know where that's going to fit into my life right now," she stated.

If Allen does tie the knot, she will join a long line of pop stars who have exchanged vows recently.

Hilary Duff married ice hockey player Mike Comrie last month, adding a wedding ring to the large diamond engagement ring she already wears.

Mariana Klaveno, former star of True Blood, has announced her engagement via Twitter.

Actress Mariana Klaveno may soon be spotted wearing an engagement ring after she confirmed she is getting married.

She announced the news in post on social networking site Twitter, stating: "Sorry I've been out of touch for a few days – been busy getting engaged!!!"

Klaveno, who played Lorena in HBO drama True Blood but had her character killed off last season, will be heading down the aisle with producer Luis Patino.

In addition to her role in True Blood, she has also starred in ER and appears in forthcoming movie No God, No Master.

The news comes after Anna Paquin – another True Blood cast member – wed Stephen Moyer during a ceremony in Malibu, California.

She wore diamond jewellery, including a necklace made of the precious stones, as the couple walked down the aisle in August.

Moyer also donned diamonds, choosing to wear a pair of ear studs containing the gems.

The Daily Mail reports the couple have been dating for almost a year and announced their relationship after being spotted at a US concert in Los Angeles last November.

One tennis player who has been wearing diamond jewellery but will not be heading down the aisle is Anna Kournikova.

The newspaper noted she was wearing a diamond ring on her engagement finger at a book launch in Florida recently, but her and other half Enrique Iglasias currently have no immediate plans to exchange vows.

Greg Norman will be heading down the aisle again after proposing to his girlfriend with a diamond ring.

Golfer Greg Norman used a diamond ring as he got down on one knee to ask for girlfriend Kirsten Kutner's hand in marriage.

The Australian surprised her with the six-carat item and said the proposal was "perfect".

Speaking to New Idea magazine, Norman, 51, stated: "One minute we were having a day-to-day conversation and the next moment, all of a sudden, everything changed – our lives changed."

And Ms Kutner described herself as "the luckiest woman on this earth" after accepting the former world number one's proposal, describing him as "amazing".

Norman has been married twice before – most recently to former tennis player Chris Evert, who he divorced last year.

Another person who will soon be heading down the aisle is Anna Abramovich, daughter of Russian billionaire and owner of Chelsea Football Club Roman, who recently got engaged to Nikolai Lazarev.

According to the Daily Mail, the ring given to her by the solicitor is "enormous".
