Coleen Rooney wore a diamond ring - believed to be worth £200,000 - as she relaxed by the pool while on holiday.

Coleen Rooney has been spotted wearing a diamond ring while on holiday with her footballer husband Wayne in Dubai.

The 24-year-old was sporting the large piece as she relaxed by the pool at the seven-star resort the couple are staying at in the emirate, the Daily Mail reports.

According to the newspaper, the ring is believed to be the £200,000, ten-carat item she was given by her husband for her 21st birthday, which contains a yellow diamond.

The couple are on a break in Dubai as Rooney recovers from an injury and have been the subject of intense media speculation, after the footballer declared he wanted to leave Manchester United, only to sign an improved contract a few days later.

Mrs Rooney has seemingly forgiven her husband after it emerged he cheated on her with a prostitute and she was seen still wearing her wedding ring when the story broke in September.

The star has recently been the subject of allegations from former bodyguard Fernando Flores, who has accused her of sexual harassment.

Another celebrity who has had her wedding ring subjected to close scrutiny recently is Coleen Rooney.

The Daily Mail reported the wife of footballer Wayne Rooney was recently seen wearing the jewellery, despite the recent claims the Manchester United forward had an affair with a prostitute.

She ventured out on Tuesday (September 7th) for the first time since the story broke at the weekend, sporting diamond earrings but keeping her ring finger hidden by holding a scarf as she went to visit her sister in hospital.

However, the Daily Mail reports the item was still in place as she went shopping for baby provisions in Manchester yesterday.

The newspaper reports Coleen is no longer living in the family home and has instead gone to stay with her parents, taking the couple's son Kai with her.

It is not yet known whether she will separate from the Manchester United and England forward, who has come in for widespread criticism after it emerged he has been involved with prostitutes.

Despite the revelations, it seems Rooney will not be dropped by any of his main sponsors, which include Nike and Coca-Cola.

The star, 24, matched a cream dress with diamond stud earrings at the Leicester Square event to launch Tamara Drewe, the Daily Mail reports.

Arterton, a former Bond girl, wore minimal makeup for the event and her look was described as "simple and elegant" by the newspaper.

Also attending the screening was Lily Allen, whose mother produced the motion picture, as well as writer and television presenter Stephen Fry.

Commenting on her role in Tamara Drewe, Arterton said it was "fun" playing the lead character – a film journalist who returns to her roots by relocating to a quiet Dorset village.

"She's a little bit saucy and a bit promiscuous," the actress added.

Diamond earrings were also the jewellery of choice for Coleen Rooney, who recently stepped out in public for the first time since it emerged her husband Wayne was unfaithful.
