Actress Jenna von Oy has married Dell data consultant Brad Bratcher in a home wedding.

Former star of Blossom, Jenna von Oy, has finally received a wedding ring from fiance Brad Bratcher after getting engaged last year.

However, the actress revealed to People magazine that she nearly ruined the Dell data consultant's proposal by almost phoning her parents beforehand, who were already in the know.

Brad had visited his wife’s mother to ask her permission to drop the big question and was just about to get ready to do it when the actress decided to phone her parents to wish them a happy New Year.

"I almost ruined it. He was afraid if I called them, as soon as [my mum] answered the phone, I would know," she admitted, adding he blindfolded her before getting down on one knee to ask for her hand in marriage.

US actress Sally Pressman may soon have to select a wedding ring after accepting her long-time boyfriend David Rogers's proposal.

Pressman, star of Army Wives, will be heading down the aisle with Rogers, who appears in Cougar Town, after he popped the question at a workout studio, People magazine reports.

The pair have been together for almost five years after meeting in an acting class and intend to tie the knot during a ceremony in either August or September 2011.

A representative for Pressman was quoted by the news source as saying: "David got down on one knee. After an immediate 'yes', they embraced in a loving (and sweaty) hug."

Another celebrity couple who will soon be exchanging vows are tennis star Maria Sharapova and LA Lakers basketball player Sasha Vujacic.

The duo were spotted out walking in Los Angeles this week and Sharapova was sporting the large diamond engagement ring Vujacic gave to her when he proposed earlier this month.
