Hilary Duff was sporting her large diamond engagement ring as she signed copies of her new book at a Borders store in New York yesterday (October 12th).
The star, who recently married ice hockey player Mike Comrie, was wearing the diamond jewellery for an appearance to promote her novel Elixir, the Daily Mail reports.
Duff, 23, was mobbed by fans who gathered to get a taste of her first book, which has been co-written by Elise Allen.
She also made an appearance on US television programme The Today Show in which she was full of praise for her new husband, stating he was an inspiration when writing some aspects of the story.
"The part I wanted to write more about was the girl falling in love for the first time," she remarked.
Duff and Comrie married in a private ceremony in August and spent their honeymoon in the Mexican resort of Cabo St Lucas.
