In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, Lily Allen has hinted that she would embrace married life.

Lily Allen has dropped a hint that she would like to wear a wedding ring at some point in the future.

In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, the pop star, who is currently pregnant with her first child, implied she would like to head down the aisle.

When questioned on the issue, she said it is "something you'll have to ask [her boyfriend] Sam [Cooper]" about, but added: "I think I've been pretty clear about what I'd like."

Allen is working on launching a vintage boutique with half-sister Sarah Owen and said she is has no immediate plans to return to making music.

"I just don't know where that's going to fit into my life right now," she stated.

If Allen does tie the knot, she will join a long line of pop stars who have exchanged vows recently.

Hilary Duff married ice hockey player Mike Comrie last month, adding a wedding ring to the large diamond engagement ring she already wears.

Pop star Monica and basketball player Shannon Brown look set to get married after she seemingly tweeted a picture of her engagement ring.

Singer Monica has shown off an engagement ring, seemingly confirming she and basketball star Shannon Brown are to tie the knot.

She posted a photograph on Twitter displaying the jewellery and thanked her "real supporters" for their messages of support.

Brown, who plays for the LA Lakers, met Monica in the summer when he played the role of her love interest in a music video, Us magazine reports.

E Online noted the pair were seen holidaying together in Cabo last month and they now look set to head down the aisle following a whirlwind romance.

Monica separated from her previous partner – with whom she has two children – several months ago and was previously romantically involved with rapper C-Murder, who serving a lifetime prison sentence after being found guilty of murder.

A diamond ring was recently used by golfer Greg Norman as he proposed to girlfriend Kirsten Kutner.

He told New Idea magazine the proposal was "perfect".

Naomi Nelson and Johnny Knoxville have tied the knot after leaving it to the last minute to select an engagement ring.

Johnny Knoxville has married his long-time girlfriend, after she picked out her engagement ring just two days before they tied the knot.

According to Life & Style, Naomi Nelson chose the jewellery before heading down the aisle with the Jackass star.

"They actually picked out Naomi's engagement ring two days ago [Sept. 22] and they're getting married today," a source told the magazine.

Nelson, who is the mother of Knoxville's second child, chose the item at a boutique jewellery store in Los Angeles.

The pair have been together for two years and Knoxville also has a second child from his first marriage.

They are not the only celebrity couple to exchanged vows recently, with Hilary Duff getting married to ice hockey player Mike Comrie last month.

Duff was spotted wearing a diamond engagement ring as she returned from a short honeymoon in Mexico with her new husband that took place shortly after their ceremony.

Riley and Hardy have revealed they are to marry, but no date has been set.

Charlotte Riley has confirmed she is getting married to Actor Tom Hardy.

The actress, who met Hardy while the two were working on a television adaptation of Wuthering Heights in 2009, told the Sunday Express magazine they are getting married, but have not yet set a date, Wenn News reports.

She was spotted wearing a diamond ring while walking the red carpet earlier this year, which prompted speculation the two are to tie the knot.

"Yes, we are engaged. We just got on well right from the start, to be honest and had an immediate understanding of each other," Riley was quoted by the newspaper as saying.

As well as starring in Wuthering Heights, Riley has also appeared in The Take and Foyle's War.

Her future husband has appeared in a number of Hollywood films, including Inception, Bronson, RocknRolla and Layer Cake.

Another celebrity soon to be heading down the aisle is Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle, who has been showing of the diamond engagement ring given to her by fiance Jason Bell.
