Diamond Cut Grade  – Why No Cut Grade Listed?

DiamondGeezer.com are ‘cut-nuts’

  • Round Stones only

Diamond CUT GRADE was introduced by the GIA for round stones only in 2006 that’s why you don’t generally see it listed on fancy shapes.

  • We where there

DiamondGeezer.com were one of the few UK manufacturing jewellers to be invited to the Antwerp launch.

  • A Duplicated Principle

Other gem laboratories have seen the need to follow, to emulate(?) the GIA and some specify cut on fancy shapes.

  • Only their opinion

It is interesting to see that other cutters & gemmologists are beginning to apply cut grades to other shapes, these may or may not be listed on the certificate and must be viewed as the seller’s opinion.
